Description

Southern Sassafras – a dense conical shrub to 6 metres, highly aromatic Australian botanical plant. A very attractive  shrub with toothed wide green leaves and aromatic bark and leaves. Leaves contain an oil with powerful insecticide properties.  The showy perfumed flowers are creamy with pink centres. Originates in Victoria and prefers shade and moist soils in summer.
