Lemon Myrtle is one of the most popular native food plants – lemon citral oil in the leaves is highly antioxidant and anti microbial – a plant to boost your gut health. Add the leaves to your food and make teas to get the health benefits.

Grows to about 4 metres in Victoria unless pruned to lower heights. Has large display of creamy flowers that attract native insects and honey bees. Very attractive garden plant for infill and screening. Prefers  a sheltered position, summer watering needed for maximum growth.
